General Terms and Conditions for LAøTEK Users

 

1. Introduction

Welcome to LAøTEK. By using our platform and our electronic repair or remote services, you agree to comply with these general terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

LAøTEK offers repair services for various electronic and computer devices, both in-store and remotely through secure connections.

3. Diagnostics and Pricing

The initial diagnosis of your devices is not covered by a warranty and must be paid for by the customer, regardless of the diagnosis result. The cost of this diagnosis will be communicated before any intervention begins. The initial diagnosis allows potential problems to be identified but does not guarantee the complete repair of the device.

4. Service Guarantee

Our repair services are guaranteed for a period specified on the repair receipt, except for the initial diagnosis. We do not guarantee the resolution of all problems, especially in devices with severe or irreparable damage.

 

5. Purchases and Orders for Parts

For part orders, we are not responsible for delivery delays, customs issues, or defective parts received. These parts will be used for repairs as agreed with the customer. Customers accept these terms when placing an order. Additional customs costs that may arise during importation into Switzerland will be borne by the customer. Payment for ordered parts must be made immediately at the time of order.

 

6. Shipping

We ship repaired devices and parts to the address provided by the customer. We are not responsible for damage or loss during transport. The customer will be informed of the shipment tracking number.

 

7. Use of Remote Services

For remote services, the customer must ensure an adequate internet connection and follow the instructions provided by our team. We are not responsible for problems resulting from a poor connection or failure to follow these instructions.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

LAøTEK is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your personal data. All information collected during the provision of our services will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. For more details, consult our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

LAøTEK will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. This limitation of liability applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Unforeseen Events and Force Majeure

In case of impossibility to complete a repair due to complex causes or a poor initial estimation, LAøTEK reserves the right to cease the provision of the service. The customer will be informed as soon as possible, and LAøTEK will not assume any additional responsibility for the non-completion of the service. The cost of the initial diagnosis remains due.

11. Long-term Projects

For long-term projects that are not electronic repairs, an advance payment of 30% of the total invoice amount is required. This advance is necessary to start the project and cover initial costs.

12. Travel Costs

When travel is required for service provision, travel costs will be included in the invoice and must be paid in advance.

13. Disclaimer

LAøTEK declines all responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and completeness of the information provided. Liability claims against LAøTEK for material or immaterial damages resulting from access, use, or non-use of the published information, misuse of the connection, or technical defects are excluded. All offers are non-binding. LAøTEK expressly reserves the right to modify, supplement, or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without prior notice, or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.

14. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these general terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon their publication on our website.

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
